Beautiful color choices, I love the little additions of red here and there. The white is nice and clean and the dust and dirt on the black really adds to the detail.
I'm curious how you get your boltpistol barrels so perfectly symmetrical and its walls so thin? It looks beautiful!
Hey, Rabidchild, Thanks for checking out my blog, and for the comment. As for your question, it is the barrel that came on the model, i just used a slightly larger diameter drill bit to widen the hole. Be careful though, if you are not centered on the barrel, you can blow it right through the side or mash up the barrel pretty good. I use an exacto knife to make a small indention where i want to drill, then use the standard Games Workshop pin vise bit to make the initial hole, then bore it out with a slightly larger bit that I snagged from my Dremmel tool (don't use a dremmel, the bit will fit in the pin vise just fine). I hope that I have answered your question, if you need some more clarification, or exact size of bit, let me know and I will help in whatever way that I can. If you have any further questions, or anything really, please feel free to post a comment, or shoot me an email. Oh, and by the way, that Valkyrie is looking totally sick man!!! Awesome idea!
Wow, that is impressive! I was hoping you had some super time saving trick, rather than pure skill. My respect for your modeling increased even more! Those are far and away the best bolt pistol muzzles I have ever seen.
